The Transplant Coordinator provides for continuity of care given to the adult kidney and kidney/pancreas transplant recipient and family. This begins with pre-operative evaluation and continues through the acute care setting. This is accomplished by coordination of a multidisciplinary team who provides education, instruction and support of the treatment program. The coordinator provides on-call coverage for all donor calls from UNOS & OPO’s as needed.

Position Requirements: Licensure/ Certification/Registration:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
Clinical Transplant Coordination (CCTC) preferred.
Current California driver’s license.
Evidence of automobile insurance. Education:
Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred. Experience:
Minimum of three years’ experience as an RN. Special Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience in adult nephrology and kidney/pancreas transplantation.
