Bank of America Operations Consultant - Test Lead in Riverside, Rhode Island

Job Description:

Supports the Project Testing Office (Testing Center of Excellence). Works with project teams to ensure standard quality practices/processes are followed. Reviews all documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Design documents, Technical Designs (HLD &LLD). Responsible for test design and test execution of system/ functional, and production validation to ensure business, technical and functional requirements are met. Identifies and documents defects during test execution.

Test Planning & Execution :

  • Work closely with Testing Coordinator, Data Manager, and Project teams

  • Reviews and provides input to test plans, traceability matrix, test tracking documents, and test calendars.

  • Writes scripts

  • Participates in all documentation peer reviews

  • Assists with the coordination of other application’s testing needs as it relates to an assigned project

  • Defines and conditions test data

  • Executes test scripts

  • Updates scripts and stores in script library (Quality Center)

  • Documents and validates problems and defects found during testing

  • Reports any adverse testing conditions to the Testing Coordinator and Project team

  • Attends daily status meeting, communicates defects and issues found

  • Participates in production validation during implementation

  • Ensures Quality Center is prepared for each project/release

Maintain Test Script Repository:

  • Ensure test scripts are updated and stored in Quality Center

  • Track and maintain Test Script Inventory Library

Reporting & Communication :

Communicates testing results to Test Coordinator
