Basic Functions Manage all Readiness and Maintenance Control Division staff training activities. Develop training plans on readiness reporting system and maintenance management functions and procedures.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Train on maintenance and materiel readiness management involving Ministry of the National Guard (MNG) units reporting procedures at the organizational, direct, and general support level, production control, calibration, and quality assurance/quality control (QAQC), coordination and technical assistance.
Train Readiness and Maintenance Control Division staff on use of new readiness and maintenance functions and procedures using the new MNG Automated Logistics Supply System (ALSS) when fielded.
Train Readiness and Maintenance Control Division staff on how to update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Perform other mission and administrative duties as required,
B. Independence: Acts under the general supervision of Chief, Logistic Management Center Training Section (LMCTS); performs within broad objectives with significant choice of methods/procedures.
C. Supervisory Responsibilities: One (1) Assistant Trainer.
A. Education Level: Associates Degree required. Bachelor's Degree preferred, Commissioned Officer 91A – Maintenance and Munitions Materiel Officer, Warrant Officer 915E – Senior Automotive Maintenance/Senior Ordnance Logistics Warrant Officer, successfully completed the Warrant Officer’s Advance Course (WOAC), Senior Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) 63Z – Maintenance Management NCO and graduate of Senior Level Leaders Course, or maintenance management course. Education level may be substituted with experienced or higher level of maintenance and readiness management operations.
B. Experience: Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in US Army maintenance activities with emphasis on readiness and maintenance management. Desired experienced at Brigade Command or higher level of maintenance related staff activities. Experience in supervision, planning, and operations at higher level maintenance related staff activities, with experience in readiness and maintenance management.
C. Specific knowledge, skill, ability, requirements: Must be skilled in management analysis functions related to logistics. Must have strong working knowledge of the functional integration of military maintenance. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
