Basic Functions Assists in planning, coordinating, developing, and evaluating the curriculum for the Ministry of the National Guard’s (MNG) Command and Staff College (CSC). Participates in the curriculum development process as an author of assigned curriculum in accordance with LDB configuration management processes and standards. Using the ADDIE (analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate) model, designs and/or develops curriculum and/or exercises in English to be administered in an adult learning environment. Ensures quality course instructional content in compliance with LDB Project Management Guide. Ensures on-time delivery of all courseware to the Office of the Program Manager-Saudi Arabia National Guard (OPM-SANG). Works as a member of the Curriculum and Faculty Development Section (CFDS) or the Capstone Exercise Section (CES). Coordinates with Translation Branch as course author and subject matter expert to ensure proper understanding and translation of course material. Oversees and/or implements approved revisions of respective course files in English. Supports the MNG Faculty Development Program (FDP) and provides instruction, advice, and assistance to the faculty. Collaborates closely with Unified Team (UT) members from MNG, OPM-SANG, and Vinnell Arabia (VA).

Major Duties and Responsibilities

A. Duties/responsibilities:

  1. Assists theCFDS and CES Managersin executing work priorities and in coordinating contract requirements among MNG, OPM-MNG, and other appropriate Vinnell organizations.

  2. Assists the CFDS and CES Managers in ensuring all curriculum development is accomplished to standard.

  3. Performs duties under the supervision of the CFDS and CES Managers.

  4. Displays flexibility with requirements for assigned tasks.

  5. Performs multiple tasks simultaneously and to standard.

  6. Performs in a time-constrained environment to meet or exceed established objectives and milestones.

  7. Displays strong interpersonal skills during interactions with team members, MNG faculty and leadership, and OPM-

SANG personnel.

  1. As requested, assists the CFDS and CFDS Managers in the overall direction and management of section activities, to include planning and execution of team goals and objectives and preparation of written products for coordination or reporting purposes.

  2. Develops curriculum for MNG-CSC based on ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate), including: concept plan;advance sheet; lesson plans, course reference slides; course grading rubrics; multimedia products; practical exercises; packaging course for final delivery; and other requirements as directed.

  3. Coordinates as required across branch and division components to meet requirements as outlined in the LDB Project Management Guide (PMG).

  4. As required, participates as a member of a cross-functional team in support of branch projects, Capstone Exercise integration into curriculum, implementation of the Capstone Exercise, and curriculum revision.

  5. Plans and coordinates curriculum development with the CFDS and CES Managers; ensures that all products undergo internal quality assurance inspections in accordance with LDB internal management review process.

  6. Ensures that respective course files and material are integrated into established hard copy and digital knowledge management systems, databases, etc., and that ongoing work is backed up regularly.

  7. Assists the CFDS and CES Managers with execution of all aspects of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and performance plans.

  8. Coordinates with Translation Branch as required to guide proper translation, to include course glossary development, multimedia integration, Capstone Exercise integration, instruction, and revision of assigned course syllabi.

  9. Responsible for compliance with Vinnell Arabia (VA) policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  10. Performs other duties as directed.
