Basic Functions

Supervise the tracking, monitoring, and expediting of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) material. Interface with Department of Defense (DOD) logistics entities and systems on all Ministry of National Guard (MNG) procured material. Prepare routine reports of follow-up results and findings.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

A. Duties/responsibilities:

  1. Supervise the tracking, monitoring, and expediting of FMS material.

  2. Maintain interface and communications with the United States Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC), Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM), Program Management-Light Armored Vehicle (PM-LAV), (Simplified Nonstandard Item Acquisition Program (SNAP), and all other DOD logistics entities.

  3. Ensure FMS requisitions are properly established in the DOD automated systems.

  4. Coordinate the expedition of high priority and deadline requisitions to ensure continuous flow of material to the MNG.

  5. Monitor, track, and follow up on the status of all requisitions in the DOD systems and provide report of findings.

  6. Produce tailored and on-demand reports required to provide current status of all FMS requisitions.

  7. Perform other mission-related tasks as directed and as required

B. Independence: Under the general supervision of the Manager, FMSSB. Performs within broad objectives with significant choice of methods. Occasionally develops methods to achieve results.

C. Supervisory Responsibilities: One Supervisor Commodity Control.

Minimum Qualifications

A. Education Level: High School Graduate. Some college preferred.

B. Experience: Minimum five years’ experience in automated supply system management. Experience with the United States (U.S.) military requisitioning systems preferred.

C. Specific knowledge, skill, ability requirement: Read, write and speak English fluently. Must be able to operate a personal computer. Must possess a valid driver's license.
