Basic Functions ​Train Logistics Management Center (LMC) on all automation training activities pertaining to logistics system analysis, proper processing of logistics data and other automated related function. Develops Automation Training plans utilizing the new National Guard (MNG) Automated Logistics Supply System (ALSS).

Major Duties and Responsibilities ​A. Duties/Responsibilities:

  1. Develops training plans for LMC automation on system analyses, proper processing g of logistics data and other automated related functions.

  2. Train Automation Section on identifying, researching and resolving systemic problems of the new MNG ALSS when fielded.

  3. Train Automation Section on producing reports and providing data processing services.

  4. Assist with Catalog File Maintenance Training.

  5. Train Automation Section on how to update Standard Operations Procedures (SOP).

  6. Perform other mission and administrative duties as required,

B. Independence: Acts under the general supervision of Chief, Logistic Management Center Training Section (LMCTS); performs within broad objectives with significant choice of methods/procedures.

C. Supervisory Responsibilities: One (1) Assistant Trainer.

Minimum Qualifications ​A. Education Level: High School diploma required. Associates Degree preferred. Warrant Officer 920B – Supply System Technician, successfully completed the Warrant Officer’s Advance Course (WOAC), Senior Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) 92A – Automated Logistical Specialist and graduate of Senior Level Leaders Course, or logistics management course. Education level may be substitute with experienced or higher level of automated logistics management operations.

B. Experience: Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in US Army automated materiel management with emphasis and experienced on Direct Support (DS) or General Support (GS) and Corps Materiel Management Center (MMC) automated logistics system.

C. Specific knowledge, skill, and ability, requirements: Must be knowledgeable on principles and procedures contained in automated logistics programs utilized in U.S. Army materiel management is requires. Demonstrated skill in automation database manipulation, sufficient to adapt to MNG software is desirable. Must be able to communicate in both oral and written form. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
