Position Title Engineer IV, Civil Engineering

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly motivated Engineer IV, Civil Engineering for immediate employment in the Roanoke, VA office.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Provides technical support for a variety of site design related projects, including grading, drainage, pipeline and collection stormwater facility design, airport design, planning, and construction administration.
Coordinates multi-discipline design efforts
Supports project managers in execution of all types of site design projects
Supports client-related activities, including marketing and proposal development
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or related engineering field
10+ years of experience in site planning and design, including project analysis, feasibility and budgeting required
Registration as an Professional Engineer
Technical proficiency in civil engineering design and analysis, including site design, grading and drainage design, water line and sewer design, stormwater permitting and design, and erosion and sediment control.
Proficient with CAD and design software (Civil 3D, Bentley Design Suites, Water CAD, Sewer CAD, ARC GIS, etc)
Strong written and oral communication, quantitative and interpersonal skills
Strong work ethic and professional demeanor
Proactive on assignments and demonstrate initiative
Must work independently with minimal supervision, and complete multiple technical tasks under tight deadlines
Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required
Must possess a valid driver’s license
International travel required
Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Hydraulic modeling experience
Experience working for local and/or federal review agencies
