Location:

This individual will be based at the Rochester, NY manufacturing facility and may have to travel to other local manufacturing sites in the area as needed.

How will you make an impact?

The Manufacturing Training Coordinator position reports to the area Manufacturing Supervisor. The Training Coordinator is primarily responsible for maintaining and improving the training system for the Penfield manufacturing process. The Training Coordinator is further expected to identify and implement improvements to the overall training process.

What will you do?

  • Developing the training materials/modules used to train production employees

  • Training and certifying the manufacturing trainers

  • Delivering the actual training modules

  • Support workers who have questions or need additional assistance in understanding their job responsibilities

  • Periodic attendance at training workshops

  • Recommendation of additional skill requirements or training as needed

How will you get here?

Education:

  • High School Diploma required; education beyond High School preferred

Experience:

  • 3+ years of previous training experience preferred

  • Experience as an Operator preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Recognized leadership ability

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to effectively work with and train other employees
