As a Staffing & Resource Manager your primary role is to staff/fulfill resources on short and long-term projects in North America and globally.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, a deep understanding of the business and its need to drive revenue are required. SRM need to understand project requirements and deliver in a dynamic working environment. Should be able to provide solutions to staffing requirements and to energetically search for opportunities for their team of practitioners.

The job involves directly sourcing candidates from internally and from subcontract firms externally.

Key responsibilities:

  • Serves as single staffing / fulfillment contact for Project Managers for a portfolio of projects within assigned work area (i.e., Sector).

  • Accountability for your assigned Operating Unit performance (staffing optimization, bench, data integrity, new hire deployment

  • Single Point of Contact for Operating Unit demand management (Staffing Plans), resource staffing and performance optimization actions

  • Uses in-depth practitioner and skill knowledge’s, identifies and proposes candidates for open seats, taking career develop into account

  • Minimizes bench and assesses staff availability for all aligned practitioners

  • Manages data integrity including Hours Plan, Availability Date, CV’s up to date

  • Works directly with Managers and Practice Leaders to improve practitioner performance

  • Works closely with WFM / WFA for utilization / forecast initiatives

  • Optimizes practitioner deployment and performance

  • Provides ongoing business and career support to all Practitioners

  • Complete Open Seat requests from OOs / Partners when opportunities or ‘one off’ seats do not qualify to be input as staffing plans.

  • Serve as SME/Career Development support for SRMs, providing them mentorship on skills, channels and resources as needed.

Relocation to the Rocket Center, West Virginia office (near LaVale, MD) and United States Citizenship are required.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise

  • Excellent communication and networking skills

  • Experience working on client projects or minimum 5 years of direct customer service experience

  • Computer proficient and possess Advanced Excel skills

  • Experience resourcing and/or deploying professional staff

  • Experience supervising/managing staff

  • Bachelor's Degree
