Senior Sales Operations Manager

This Senior Sales Operations Manager

position will lead a team of experienced Sales Operations Business Partners who

are responsible for driving the weekly forecast and pipeline reporting,

quarterly business analysis and annual budget planning. In additional this role

will be responsible for overseeing key sales programs and processes focused on

growth, sales effectiveness and productivity for North American Consulting


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Sales VPsto ensure accurate forecast with strong deal qualification process

  • Provideleadership and guidance for the Sales Operations Business Partner teamestablishing overall goals, objectives, and team vision.

  • Drivecontinuous improvement reviews of existing processes and tools to improveefficiency and maximize revenue

  • Overseeweekly forecast process; assisting management in assessing risk and upsidein overall forecast

  • Overseeannual sales budgeting, territory and quota planning process

  • Developkey performance metrics and oversees team in providing impactful analysisto Sales VPs on KPIs including budget attainment, bookings growth, forecastaccuracy, pipeline quality, deal progression, software attach rate, bookingslinearity, and Sales productivity

  • Recommendsrevisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of newreporting tools as needed.

  • Assistsmanagement in tracking sales organization objectives and activitiesensuring execution in a timely fashion

  • Partnerswith management in Finance, Business Operations and Sales Compensation toachieve goals.

Minimal Qualifications:

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of demonstrated success in an operations, sales compensation or finance role

  • Previousmanagement experience desired

  • Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format to generate insight to enhance sales force productivity and effectiveness.

  • Ability to summarizeto executive management along with strong powerpoint skills

  • Demonstrated problem solving ability with experience providing practical business insights from large, complex data sets.

  • An affinity to talking with numbers; inherent aptitude to quantify and support conclusions with data.

  • Good oral and written communication skills with experience working with and presenting to senior management

  • Ability to efficiently and effectively facilitate and drive to meeting closure

  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel based modeling skills

  • Familiarity and working knowledge of Oracle Sales Cloud or other CRM systems preferred

  • B.S. or Master’s Degree

  • Job must work in Rocklin, CA office; some travelmay be required_

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency. Provides business practices and processes. Drives policies and procedures that monitor and support the organization

  • s operational and financial business objectives. Provides analysis and advice to management in the areas of operations, resource management, finance, revenue accounting, pricing, and/or contracts. May also be responsible for administration, knowledge management, and/or communications.

Develops and monitor PandL forecasts. Develops and monitor metrics to measure other key performance indicators and group performance. Performs competitive analysis. Creates pricing strategy and cost accounting (business modeling) for projects. Reviews contracts for terms, pricing and approvals. Work with account team to close deals. Interfaces with client to resolve contract/delivery disputes. May be responsible for directing resource management staff, ensuring maximum utilization. May be involved with compensation and bonus process. Manage at least two direct reports.

Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired.
