Oracle Senior User Experience Developer in Rocklin, California
Responsible for creating, evaluating and modifying prototypes to support evolving hardware and software application development.
As a member of the User Experience team, you will develop and apply software design/usability processes in the investigation of technical problems. May develop user profiles, with emphasis on human error control, display issues, visual interaction, physical manipulation and task and objective analyses. Provide product usability, evaluation and support to product development teams, including the analysis and investigation of applications/systems including tactile methods, visual graphics, web, multimedia, voice response and conversational user interaction. May assist in developing design concept and implementation, providing input on user design considerations. May produce specifications describing user needs and internal structures for product in development.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically four years of software engineering or related experience needed.

What is IAM at OCI?
Identity and Access Management (IAM) allows users to control who has access to their cloud resources. The team providesthe platform for Authentication, Authorization and Federation for services that use and are part of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Identity services includes components like Control Plane, that allows CRUD on resources like Users, Groups, Policy, Dynamic Groups; Data Plane that provides the API keys for request signing, performs authZ check; Sign-on UI Page that authenticates the users with user name and password for Console and CLI access.
This position is for theIdentity Console team which owns Identity related UI plugins on OCI Console and the full stack Sign-On service for Paas/Saas services as well as enabling Single Sign-On (SSO) across internal Oracle applications.

The person in this role will get a lot done on a daily basis, drive tactical execution of features and projects, and own feature design.
4 years web development experience.
Hands-on experience building and operating highly available, high-traffic web sites and applications.
Strong development experience in at least one modern web application framework such as Angular, React, Node.js and using it with REST API’s
In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment), browser testing and debugging.
Work with other software development engineers, project managers and senior UX engineers to fix bugs and support feature development of front-end components front-end components such as web interfaces.
Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of the development of features for front-end system components such as web interfaces in a cloud environment
Write correct, secure, maintainable, robust code and appropriate tests for front-end code.
Influences visual designs in collaboration with Design stakeholders.
Provides input to API stakeholders to ensure delivered APIs support required user experiences.
Drives operational readiness & excellence of their features & subsystems.
Domain knowledge of Identity and Access Management.
Experience and understanding of multi-AD/AZ and regional data centers
Building continuous integration/deployment pipelines with robust testing and deployment schedules
Experience with Docker
Experience working with internal customers and translating requests into prioritized work or features
Experience working with large enterprise customers
