Position Title Water / Wastewater Project Manager

AECOM has an excellent career opportunity for a creative, highly talented Project Manager for immediate employment in the Rocky Hill, CT office.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Manages the full life cycle of a project and ensures the project is completed successfully from beginning to end (i.e. initiation, planning and designing, execution, monitoring and controlling, and completion of the project), aligning with AECOM's business strategy, goals and vision
Successfully develops strategy, prepares proposals, negotiates scopes of work and fees, and executes project
Maintains and builds a positive client relationship as well as being the primary point of contact with the client
Identifies and commits appropriate company resources to accomplish project goals
Controls overall project cost and scope, schedule, quality of work, and project controls
Makes decisions concerning approved expenditures to meet project budget
Ensures all standards and requirements are met in the area of health and safety by reviewing, communicating and managing project health and safety plans so that project personnel, client and subcontractors are aware of risks, hazards and accidents are prevented
Bachelor's of science degree in civil or environmental engineering
5+ years of experience in water and / or wastewater engineering field, water transmission, wastewater collection
Water transmission and distribution experience and / or wastewater collection experience is a must.
Proven ability to control a project scope and manage staff within an assigned budget
Must be a highly motivated self-starter with solid writing and verbal communication skills
Experience and ability to write reports and proposals and develop associated fees
Experience and ability to interact successfully with client, various teams and members and the public
Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required
Masters degree in related experience
Licensed PE in the state of CT
