What’s the role?

Key to your role will be developing a deep understanding of the commodity aromatics lower olefins Chemicals business, that will help direct successful commercial strategies that are based on external-tested strategic beliefs, scenarios and assumptions, and aligned within the overall Chemicals global business strategy.

More specifically, you can expect to be developing competitive analysis for the product line globally, managing monthly price setting and contract prices, supporting execution of commercial strategy, and providing subject matter expertise to challenge and advise on contract negotiations.

Working closely with external partners, from customers to industry consultants, you’ll also showcase your strong communication skills, easily translating complex information into actions that will be supported by a wide range of stakeholders, within a changing Chemicals landscape.

What we need from you

We’re keen to hear from men and women with seasoned experience in Chemicals, plus proven professional expertise within pricing, analytics, and commodity marketing, and, ideally, broader commercial experience. Along with a Master’s’s degree, ideally in Business, Economics, or Marketing, we’d also hope to find as many of the following on your CV:

• Skilled in analysis to execute multiple complex analyses.

• Proven strong research and synthesis skills.

• Strong microeconomic fundamental analysis knowledge.

• Experience in numerical modeling using Excel and data visualization tools.

• A keenness to becoming a subject matter expert.

• Additional commercial or technical experience will be beneficial.
