The Customer Security Director (CSD) will strengthen Ericsson's capability to sell, deliver and develop solutions that efficiently define and meet the security needs of our customers. Acting as a dedicated Senior Security Advisor and security encouraging leader to the Global Customer Unit, Ericsson Customer Unit (CU) and their Sales and Delivery teams, as well as be the focal point for Security. The main purpose is not to sell security solutions but to enable overall sales based on Ericsson security posture and to build a mutual understanding of how we and our customer jointly can reach their wanted security posture!

You will:

  • Serve as the single point of contact between the Customer and Ericsson for all matters related to the Security of the solution or services proposed or provided by Ericsson.

  • Recognized as a trusted advisor internally and towards the customer, when it comes to Security

  • Ensure the Customer's Security concerns are identified, understood, acknowledged, addressed, reflected accurately in the contract, and build a structure to verify that we deliver what we contractually committed

  • Edge delivery and gap closure affecting the delivery of the project.

  • Work in both the pre-sales and post-sales capacity by assessing the customers’ requirements, crafting solutions or services to meet customer expectations.

  • Proactively recommend customers in a wide range of security domains, including risk assessment, governance, data management, product privacy, product security hardening, ISO 27001 security controls and procedures and vulnerability assessment, etc.

  • Advice to Ericsson Customer Units (CU) and other decision makers on security issues, including the management of security risks;

  • Partner with Project Management to deliver communications, plans, timelines and other activities required for successful service delivery;

  • Guide all aspects of the security services delivered by the Ericsson to ensure they meet the agreed service level defined in the Service Level Agreements. Review of SLA to ensure that customers objectives are achieved.

  • Responsibility for working closely with CEMs & ensuring resolution of field support related issues through GNOC & OEMs and Timely Closure of all Sign-off as per agreed MS Contract delivery framework.

  • Hold governance meetings on security subjects according to the program Governance structure.

  • Contribute to Ericsson thought leadership within security and privacy.

To be successful in the role you must have

  • The ability to convey robust general security and compliance experience and support Ericsson's security posture

  • Domain expertise in telecom industry and/or IoT, including confirmed experience working with product security, privacy and general cybersecurity.

  • Understanding of solution security aspects applicable to the telco space. Such as security implications of: Open RAN, Service Based Architecture, the core and ran interfaces, network slicing, distributed cloud solutions, Managed service solutions, XaaS Solutions, etc

  • Understanding of the context of local security-based regulation within the communication space

  • Solid understanding of security frameworks, assurance schemes and regulations (such as NESAS, NIST, ISO, CSF, ISAE/SSAE SOC, HITECH, Breach Notification, 27001/2, ISO 22301, ISAE/SSAE. PCI-DSS, and OWASP, etc.)

  • Good command of English, Portuguese and Spanish is a must
