Where you fit in

As the successful candidate for the Lubricants Account Manager role will be responsible for leading profitable growth lubricants business in selected OEM accounts of Southeast region – this includes managing first fill operation for OEM plants served in Brazil. You will also contribute by developing new business and increase existing business (first fill and service fill) to achieve planned Volume, Margins and Proceeds Targets through Value Selling and the application of sector customer value proposition.

Other accountabilities include:

  • To build long-term relationship with the FWS and OEM key stakeholders.

  • Develop and execute the local growth plan for named accounts working with the Sales colleagues in territory-based positions, Marketing, Technical teams and others.

  • Coordinate end-to-end (E2E) in field growth activities implementation. This includes projects, MKT, commercial and technical activities.

  • Constantly seek profitability/operational improvement opportunities.

  • Give Demand Forecast inputs to S&OP covering the expected offtakes of accounts covered.

  • Ensure strong/proactive pricing discipline and actions.

  • Initiate/conclude new contracts, monitor and manage existing contracts performance.

  • Display effective Commercial Excellence behaviors (Sales 1st).

  • Adhere to Shell Business Principles: HSSE (Healthy, Safety, Security & Environment), D&I (Diversity & Inclusion), E&C (Ethics & Compliance).

What we need from you

  • Must have legal authorization to work in Brazil without sponsorship.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • At least 3 years of related work experience. Prior background handling accounts such as lubricants, chemicals, brake fluids, coolants, fuels, etc. is an asset.

  • Availability to travel 70% of the time.

  • Work Location: Home Office (São Paulo area based).

  • Proficient in both verbal and written English.

  • Demonstrated negotiation, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
