Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.
Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

Oracle is seeking candidates for/multiple/Cloud Product Manager positions with our OCI Engineering team. OCI is the next generation Cloud service built from the ground up to support the most demanding application requirements addressing a wide range of customer use cases.
This team focuses on defining the solution, sales and go-to-market strategy for customers moving their custom applications and Oracle database workloads to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. We help drive acquisition of new customers while maintaining a strong emphasis on continual customer success. Our mission is to transform our customers experience – how they envision the value of their Cloud journey, confidence in the technical and commercial viability, faster adoption and expansion.
Our Product Managers work closely with Cloud Architects, Cloud Engineers, Program Managers and Sales to design, build and enable repeatable solutions on OCI.The primary focus for solutions will be on some of the mission critical and leading Oracle technologies like Database Cloud, Autonomous Database, Exadata Cloud Services, WebLogic, Java and Apex and solutions around Custom applications, Database Migration and Consolidation and Disaster Recovery on Cloud.
Identify new patterns using the current customer usage or pipeline data - new solutions, new programs, new partnerships or certifications needed
Own solution definition – vision, roadmap, identify key capabilities, ecosystem facets.
Build sales enablement assets, tools to accelerate discovery, technical wins and customer on-boarding
Measure and reiterate the effectiveness of our programs, build re-usable assets and enable cloud architects and sales to execute the programs
Define new programs that would scale the business for a specific customer base or a sales play - target customer base, execution details, metrics and KPIs
Incubate and test new programs before we launch them at scale
Collaborate with product and go-to-market teams to build the messaging, positioning and technical enablement content
Be the expert in knowing customers, market, competition, and the role Oracle products play.
Lead and influence product teams to invest and iterate on the right product capabilities.
Make business decisions to drive market adoption and customer satisfaction.
Partner with sales and marketing to deliver high quality product collateral, influence packaging and positioning.
Preferred Qualifications include:
Experience in building and migrating enterprise applications to Cloud, large Database workloads, Middleware or Integration products
Enterprise technical or product management experience
Extensive product-level experience with one or more of these areas is a plus: Application Development, Middleware, Databases, Virtualization, Networking, and Storage architectures.
Proven ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams
Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
Flexibility and comfort with ambiguous product decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience building value propositions, messaging, and guidance for the field and partners
Product-level experience with business-critical apps, like ERP, CRM, HCM, SCM is a plus.
Extensive product-level experience with Oracle Cloud services and database is a plus
Bachelor and/or Masters degree in a relevant discipline
Ability to travel as appropriate on a modest to moderate basis.
