Oracle Marketing Cloud product development organization has a fantastic opportunity for a Telecommunications Industry Strategy and Customer Success Product Manager. Reporting to the Director, this position is responsible for ensuring the customer success of Telecommunications industry Oracle Marketing Cloud customers from pre-sales to post-sales retention. Successful candidates will view this as an opportunity to build and drive a global business specific to the Telecommunications industry while enabling customer experience transformation for our Telecommunications customers.
Development and execution of Oracle Marketing Cloud Telecommunications strategy and customer success in both the B2B and B2C space
Provide Telecommunications industry subject matter expertise and relevant industry solutions
Development of Oracle Marketing Cloud product positioning, context based solutions and collateral for the Telecommunications industry
Identification of Telecommunications industry use cases and value proposition
Maintain a deep understanding of the Oracle Marketing Cloud’s Suite of products and how they bring value to the Telecommunications industry
Define Telecommunications industry solution and product specifications to address the needs of the industry; engage with Product Managers to ensure it is built and market ready.
Engage with Telecommunications industry prospects and customers to deliver Oracle Marketing Cloud product value propositions for the Telecommunications industry.
Engage in public speaking, thought leadership and industry analysts/media to evangelize our solutions in the marketplace.
Monitor and support development of Sales pipeline for the Telecommunications industry
Train internal and external service organizations on the Telecommunications solution.
Consult and assist sales managers, customer success managers and sales consultants assigned to Telecommunications accounts. Focus on developing their Telecommunications industry knowledge to take on more execution responsibility over time.
-Collaborate across Oracle to promote OMC Telecommunications industry value and capitalize on opportunities (i.e. work with CX (Customer Experience) organization, IBU (Industry Business Units), ODC (Oracle Data Cloud) vertical teams.
- Become your Telecommunications customers’ champion – take a solutions orientation to address their needs and support their marketing transformation

Skills and Experiences Required
7 years experience in the Telecommunications industry, highly preferable in a Marketing or CRM function
Bachelor Degree required; Masters Degree preferred
-Very strong written and verbal communication skills
-Very comfortable with public speaking
- Ability to travel globally and up to 40% of the time.
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
The Telecommunications Industry Product Manager is a Telecommunications marketing expert in their own right and will be the global OMC authoritative voice on the marketing challenges and opportunities within the Telecommunications industry. You will bridge the sales organization and product development organization to ensure Oracle Marketing Cloud provides a solution beneficial to Telecommunications customers and ensure their success. As a member of the customer success overlay team, you will support global sales teams on Telecommunications industry opportunities including creation of sales content, customer meetings, Oracle headquarter customer presentations (CVCs), Customer Experience (CX) and Industry Business Unit (IBU) Customer Advisory Board meetings, Sales forum webinars, and additional activities to ensure success for Telecommunications customers.
Additionally, collaboration and team work is key in this role as you will develop Telecommunications industry partner relationships, work closely with the customer account managers, provide product feedback to product management, work closely with the CX, IBU, and Oracle Data Cloud Telecommunications teams and maintain a pulse on valuable Telecommunications customers.
You are comfortable speaking to large groups as this position will provide and present Oracle Marketing Cloud Telecommunications marketing thought leadership at conferences, webinars, customer advisory board meetings, and the like. You will provide leadership and expertise in the development of new customer facing content/products/services/processes/thought leadership needed for Telecommunications customer success. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
