As a Cloud Business Analyst (Business Systems Consultant 5) with the Cloud Foundry Engineering organization, you will be integral in efforts focused on driving internal adoption of the Pivotal Cloud Foundry platform offering. As a member of the team, you are responsible for assisting in defining and executing a product roadmap that expands and matures our platform solution by enabling more business units to deploy applications to the cloud.

This role is inherently cross-functional: you will work closely with the Technical Product Manager/Business Analyst; as well as the engineering, operations, application development, finance, and executive teams to set strategy, launch features, and grow business opportunities for Wells Fargo. This role is a member of a highly visible team that requires you to partner with a variety of leaders and teams across Wells Fargo and engage with leadership at customer organizations and third-party vendors.

The Cloud Business Analyst (Business Systems Consultant 5) is expected to:

  • Perform business analysis/business systems consultant responsibilities while learning technical product management and project management responsibilities for Cloud Foundry Engineering; participating in the Agile functions for the PaaS teams

  • Build relationships and collaborate with highly skilled Engineers (Cloud, Systems, Security), as well as with the Technical Product Owner/Business Analyst and business partners to ensure planning, strategy and execution of solutions align with requirements, compliance and bank standards.

  • Partner in execution of the product strategy for driving PCF adoption within key verticals and use cases, including defining and delivering new features and services.

  • Develop crisp, detailed business requirements, documentation, and other project deliverables that can be used to create development specifications and architecture for platforms and applications.

  • Possess the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs, and evaluate new ideas and opportunities with internal and external partners.

  • Partner with Wells Fargo’s solution architecture, security, and application development organizations to define and drive go-to-market activities.

  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.

  • High attention to detail, including precise and effective customer communications and a proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

Successful candidates are strong technical leaders who have demonstrated:

  • Technical breadth and depth with platforms, including experience working with IaaS/PaaS, web services, or back-end application infrastructure.

  • Experience driving focus and quality within strong, talented, cross-functional teams to deliver technical products and projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong track record of defining multi-year product strategies, executing on associated roadmaps, and consistent delivery of results.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs, and evaluate new ideas and opportunities with internal and external partners.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.

  • High attention to detail, including precise and effective customer communications and a proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both

  • 2+ years of data analysis experience

  • 2+ years of Agile experience

  • 7+ years of experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements

  • 1+ years of experience with Cloud technologies

  • 5+ years of relationship management experience with business and technology partners
