Oracle's internal manufacturing facility located in Hillsboro, Oregon provides final integration and test for our Cloud, Engineered Systems, High End Sparc, and Networking product lines. The site is supported by a cross functional organization represented by Engineering, Material Planning, Manufacturing Operations and Program Management. The Oracle Cloud is experiencing significant growth resulting in rapid expansion and redesign of the underlying supply chain infrastructure to support that growth. The Cloud Project Manager is a key member of the Cloud Product Lifecycle and Technology (PLT) organization. This individual will sit on the staff of the Senior Director and be responsible for owning and driving dynamic team activities including departmental KPIs and reviews, maintaining the department project portfolio, leading and facilitating collaboration across the department, and driving critical projects that will further the business objectives. They will be a key member of the operations team and will work daily with supply chain, cloud development, and support organizations to ensure the solutions meet the end to end business needs.

This Cloud Operations Program Manager will be located in Seattle, Washington or Hillsboro, Oregon with one of our engineering development centers and will be working closely with the Hillsboro Operations teams. They will be responsible for supporting our tactical operations for rapidly accelerating Cloud products collaborating with our other OPS PMs, and acting as the single point of contact for the product portfolio they manage for both internal and external teams as required. Their primary focus is managing product lifecycle for Oracle Public Cloud products while also managing complex cross functional projects intended to streamline current processes and efficiently implementing new ones. Some highlights include new part number set-ups, chairing critical execution meetings, product lifecycle management (NPI to EOL), internal Oracle communications, providing executive report outs, tactical supply chain execution management, new process scoping, creation and roll out. Included but not limited to BOM definition and management in GSI and Agile, production continuity, capacity planning, forecast planning, process definition, schedule planning and execution, prototype build planning, hardware/software change order coordination, ECO implementation planning, weekly management reviews and risk mitigation. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of both technical and business skills when required.

Foundational understanding of manufacturing, product life-cycle management, supply chain operations, and Cloud deployments desired.
Strong communication, oral and written with the ability to present to internal Oracle teams and upper management when required
Proficient project management, leadership, team building, meeting management, problem resolution, risk management and decision-making skills.
Ability to lead and influence within a team.
Ability to effectively address and resolve any ambiguity.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work independently on complex assignments.
Self-starter capable of learning "on-the-fly."
Proficient with desktop productivity tools (e.g. spreadsheets, text documents, presentations).
GSI and Agile expertise as it relates to BOM structure, sales order management, and factory execution
Ability to identify and understand new situations and needs without having all the details provided
Develop, manage, participate in cross departmental or interdepartmental process improvement projects
Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule

Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 2 years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
