_Additional information about our Cardiac ICU:_ * 12-Bed CICU * Nurse to patient ratio based on acuity * Patient turnover ranges from 2 days - 2 months depending on patient conditions * Types of patients you will see on this unit: STEMI, Cardiogenic Shock, and Post Cardiac Arrest * Nurses in this unit will be trained for Therapeutic Hypothermia, Impella, Intra-aortic Balloon Pump, and Continuous renal replacement therapy * New leader on this unit with a passion for supporting nurses in reaching their professional goals, excellent practice, and collegial relationships * Growth opportunities include: Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification and participation in Shared Governance Councils

_Required_: * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing * Registered Nurse License issued by the Department of Health Professions, Commonwealth of Virginia

_Licensure / Credentials:_ * BLS Certification (within 60 days of being hired)
