AECOM Project Manager – Project Cost/Change Control in Salt Lake City, Utah

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Project Manager for immediate employment for the Salt Lake City, UT office. This person will be an integral part in the core management team of a $3.6B Airport Redevelopment Program (ARP) for the Salt Lake City International Airport. The project includes construction of a new consolidated terminal building, north concourse, parking structure, and connection with the light rail system. The Project Manager – Project Cost/Change Control position is a key member of the Project Controls team and will report to the Project Controls Manger.
Review and manage pay applications
Provide support in the change management process
Preparation of cost reports
High school diploma
5+ years of experience working in construction in a cost control position at a major hub airport.
Must be familiar with the various contract delivery methods (design-bid-build, design-build, construction manager at risk for example).
Must be detail oriented, proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and have experience with a program management software system (PMSS), Primavera Contract Manager, Prolog, or Expedition for example.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively communicate with the project staff, owner, architects, engineers, contractors and other agencies are required.
Able to produce executive level and detailed cost reports.
Able to work well with others from a variety of companies and disciplines. The successful candidate will work closely with the SLCDA Construction Finance Group and assist with the review of the projects payment applications from the CMAR, GCs, architects, engineers and consultants.
Able to support the change management process through the cost tracking of all change requests against the overall Budget.
Work with Finance to ensure changes are funded through the proper funding source; tracking expenditures by funding sources.
Familiarity with Airport Facility Program (AIP), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Passenger Facility Charges (PFC), Salt Lake City procurement requirements, State of Utah requirements and guidelines, as applicable.
