St Mark's Hospitalhas a Quality/Regulatory Coordinator opening with our Quality Department!
The Quality Coordinator will be responsible for researching and clarifying hospital regulatory/compliance issues related to federal/state regulations, CMS Conditions of Participation and TJC Accreditation Standards. Managing TJC self-scoring process and provides ongoing evaluation of compliance, utilizing Focus PDCA and Tracer Methodology.
They will participate and oversees data collection, compliance facilitation, analysis and presentation of quality-based data. Provides consultation for implementation of corporate and facility initiatives with regulatory and patient safety implications. Supports and facilitates process improvement teams.
Functions as expert clinician, patient advocate and leader in staff systems and process improvement of clinical practice.
Primary focus on improving quality and delivery of care and patient safety through evidence based best practices. Healthcare Accreditation Certified Professional through CIHQ within 6 months of hire or other equivalent Quality certification

Bachelor Degree (Master's preferred) in Nursing or other clinical area from an accredited institution.
RN or Clinical License/Certification (HACP, CPHQ, JCCP)
Knowledge of hospital policy, federal/state regulations and the Joint Commission Standards that are applicable to hospitals.
Two (2) years previous experience with survey activities.
Three (3) years experience in a role requiring critical thinking and problem solving, managing complex projects that overlap between several clinical areas.
