How will you make an impact?

We are seeking an experienced, driven and innovative individual to establish a joint go-to-market and commercial model for the Digital Transformation service offering. This individual will lead the efforts to design, develop and launch the new Digital Transformation service offering predominantly to large global biopharma customers. This Senior Product Manager role will require creativity and market insight to formulate new ideas and approaches. They should be oriented strongly towards problem solving, and above all, use discovery and structured thinking to inform their approach. We are looking for someone who understands complex B2B engagements, is committed to customer success, and can navigate a matrix environment. Change management and proper interface with senior leadership will be critical skills to leverage. Once the new Digital Transformation service offering is launched the Senior Product Manager will manage the product portfolio on an ongoing basis and will develop new adjacent products and services. This management will include product definition, positioning, pricing, and product lifecycle management.

What will you do?

  • Program Management: develop market research, lead the product management function in assessing and developing operational capabilities, pricing, customer communications, sales and operational support, and revenue forecasts.

  • Ensure Alignment: work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across the company and work closely with marketing, sales, operations, and business transformation to build a roadmap of concepts aimed at elevating the holistic customer experience.

  • Compliance and Structure: ensure new product introduction process is followed, including understanding new products and how to take them through an internal life-cycle; maintain responsibility for Stage Gate review (content and timing) to ensure lessons learned are integrated into current and future projects

  • Commercialize: build comprehensive commercial go to market strategy including plans for sales, marketing and overall commercial operations.

  • Operationalize: establish internal operational processes to ensure that scaled execution between the Enterprise Services and Digital Science teams are smooth - this will include processes, governance and on-going operating model within the context of the Quality Management System

  • Project Management: develop task level project plans and empower the team to succeed by demonstrating clear ownership and accountability of tasks; assure execution to core competencies of scope, time, cost, quality/risk, resource planning and effective communication to successfully complete project deliverables as planned.

  • Change Management: monitor progress of program and portfolio and leverage that visibility to drive effective change management and resource management to timely resolve cross-functional issues.

  • Communication: maintain communication with leadership team, ensuring awareness of potential roadblocks, risks or challenges and proposing solutions; interface with Product Management Leadership to ensure correct project prioritization and with R&D Leadership to ensure appropriate resource allocation.

  • Improve Execution: maintain and communicate portfolio performance metrics, setting and maintaining high expectations

How will you get here?


  • BS/BA degree in Marketing, Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field


  • Minimum 5 years of B2B services product management

  • Strong knowledge of basic business models and growth strategies

  • Proven track record of defining and executing business strategy

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and articulate complex strategic issues and ideas

  • Cross-functional team leadership (especially leadership thru influence) solving multi-variate problems

  • Experience influencing upward and downward in past organizations

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA

  • Industry experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Technological Services, or Software industries

  • Experience in digital transformation (or consulting equivalent)

  • Experience managing complex, matrixed program evolution
