Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
As a Master Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.
Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Acts as a leader of large-scale company initiatives. Viewed by peers as a leader and top contributor and by line management as a key business partner. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.

Oracle is hiring a _Business Architect for the Engineered Systems Business Value Services_ team. As part of a team with US focus, this person will help Oracle s largest and most strategic customers to develop and understand the business value of logically transitioning their applications and technology infrastructure to the cloud leveraging Oracle s Engineered Systems with PaaS and IaaS Cloud Services. The position will require the individual to:
Identify key industry/company and cloud specific strategies and opportunities
Assess customer's current and target capabilities
Develop business cases for customers achieving target capabilities
Enhance the various sales teams skills in positioning the value of Oracle s cloud services, strategic assessments and general value proposition development
Assist the sales teams in account planning. Deliver process improvement recommendations to the Business Value Team.
Deliver business case with Sales & Systems Engineering Leadership
In addition, the position will require the person to lead the development of both Cloud and Industry specific tools and processes to be leveraged by the sales and systems engineering organizations in their respective roles.
*EXPERIENCE / ACCOMPLISHMENTS *
- Consulting Experience (Required): Experience with a major consulting firm, or in internal executive-advisory roles, in helping C-level executive define the strategic corporate agenda. Potential consulting experience may comprise of:
o 2-4 years of experience with a premier IT & management consulting firm
o 4-6 years of experience with industry leading companies in a functional or IT management role
o 8-10 years of experience in operations and strategy development
o Proven track record of impact on targeted objectives for delivering results.
- Software/Systems/Virtualization Sales Experience (Preferred): Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and/or to sell concepts/ideas to C-level executives
Understanding of and familiarity with positioning the value of cloud solutions and underlying architecture (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) inclusive of public, private, hybrid and cloud adjacent models.
Deep industry knowledge, especially in one or more of the following industries: Services, Financial Services/Insurance, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Consumer Goods/CPG, Energy, and Information Technology .
Functional best practice knowledge in at least one of the following key solution areas: Customer Relationship Management, Supply Chain, HR, Finance, Risk Management, BI/Analytics, Security, Platform Services, IoT, Digital/Mobility.
Exceptional business problem solving combined with strong interpersonal skills. Outstanding oral, written and presentation skills.
MBA is desirable.
