Job Description


CACI is pursuing the prime contract for the development and integration of a large Personnel and Pay systems integration effort. The program is an ACAT-1 level program with high visibility within CACI's large portfolio of enterprise business systems and Human Capital management solution programs. The system is a future Web-based, integrated Air Force Enterprise Human Resources (HR) and Payroll solution designed to alleviate the customer's current reliance on stove-piped HR systems and payroll interfaces that do not efficiently share information with one another. The system will provide a centralized resource for employees, managers, and HR Professionals to better manage personnel and pay information, helping the Airmen focus more on mission needs.

What You’ll Get to Do:

As an Interface Developer (ERP Application Developer) you will perform business and technical analyst functions, including workshop facilitation, business process data validation, enterprise application (ERP product) testing from a functional business area perspective. Also perform application development and configuration and unit testing of the application code (ERP product) from a technical perspective. Effort include participation in the development, integration and deployment of enterprise solutions. Utilize functional area expertise to create data base models and to assess the operational and functional date baseline. Example of functional areas include, providing data models that are the results of business systems planning and data requirements planning. Provide input for systems development and data base administration groups from a data point of view. You’ll also perform business and technical designer functions, including making contributions to both the business and technical architecture components of the enterprise solution.

More About the Role:

  • To design, build, and support feature-rich Enterprise integration components between mission-critical business systems.

  • To follow and develop Oracle Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) standards by developing and maintaining efficient and reusable integration assets and consistently utilizing best practices and standard design paradigms across all projects.

  • To enforce best practices and standards in order to create consistent and easily maintainable Enterprise integration assets.

  • The RICEW Developer will be responsible for the technical design, and development of Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions and Workflows (RICE-W) within Oracle EBS version 12.2.4.

  • Play a senior role in the analysis, design and development efforts in the Oracle EBS space with a primarily focusing on solutions for HR/Payroll processes.

  • Collaboration with business and other team members (Developers, Functional Analysts, and Testers) to produce scalable, efficient and supportable solutions utilizing Oracle and related technologies

  • Support fellow team members through development and architecture standard improvement/augmentation according to industry best practices

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Responsible for the creation, modification, and testing of code

  • Responsible for peer review of code

  • Responsible for analyzing and identifying system performance issues, recoding bugs, testing fixes and implementing the solution identified

  • Support system and user acceptance testing activities, including issue resolution so that tasks are completed in a timely manner

  • Develop or extend reports via Oracle Reports Builder or BI Publisher templates

  • Develop/customize Oracle application workflows

  • Develop custom forms via Oracle Forms Builder/Oracle Application Framework

  • Provides end-user support for system customizations

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members.

  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or other technically relevant degree from an accredited university

  • Ability to obtain an active Secret clearance

  • 7+ Years of IT experience, with at least 5 years’ global large-scale ERP implementation experience

  • Experience with Oracle Database version 11g and 12c

  • Experience with UNIX scripting, UNIX/Linux

  • Experience with Oracle Applications development utilizing PL/SQL

  • Knowledge of HR and Payroll business processes, and their legislative governance.

  • Experience in the creation of technical design documentation

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously among changing priorities

  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle tools like PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, SQL Plus, SQL loader, Workflow, XML-Publisher and AOL

  • Oracle EBS R12 experience is required

  • Strong skills in SQL tuning and high-volume data processing

  • Proficient with Oracle HR/Payroll APIs

  • Experience with integration to Oracle E-Business Suite and /or legacy systems

  • Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents

  • Experience with Oracle SOA

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • OA Framework development is a plus

  • Experience in delivering systems for Public Sector, Federal Civilian Government, and/or Department of Defense (DoD) customers

  • Team player with the ability to adjust to a dynamic working environment that supports a government agency

  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, troubleshooting, and analytical skills

  • Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.
