Job Description

CACI is seeking a Material Forecasting/Planning/Distribution specialist.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Procure pricing and order materials in support of production efforts

  • Maintain inventory and purchasing data systems

  • Perform incoming inspection and receiving functions/Stock and inventory materials

  • Create kit-lists from engineering drawings and build kits from inventory

  • Manage kit-short items and generally ensure production line has all necessary part and materials to maintain schedule

  • Manage site shipping and receiving functions for all materials

  • Includes Pack and Ship

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • At least five years prior experience with inventory management

  • Minimum three years of experience in production or manufacturing environment

  • Relevant experience using commercial inventory management software

  • Ability to work within a diverse team

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs from the floor to a height of 36”

  • Ability to remaining standing or sitting for extended periods (up to two hours)

  • Prior experience with pack and ship standards to ensure safe ship of a wide range of equipment

  • Solid understanding of MS-Excel and MS-Word

  • Ability to follow written processes

  • Experience with managing inventory through Costpoint a plus
