We are seeking a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer to work in our San Antonio, TX facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead test automation and test tool efforts.

  • Create test plans and use cases to ensure adequate test coverage.

  • Execute functional, application, and regression tests.

  • Provide visible metrics indicating test coverage and defect trends.

  • Collaborate with UX Designers, BAs, QA engineers, and product owners to develop continuous product enhancements and releases.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering field or foreign equivalent.

  • Quality Assurance experience, ideally in mobile, tablet, Web, API and database testing – 5 years

  • Experience working in Agile teams and familiarity with Scrum - 5 years

  • Experience working as a SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) – 4 years

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, C , C, or C# - 4 years

  • Testing UI, web services, databases, and back end functionality using tools like SQL, Selenium, SoapUI, JMeter and Arquillian – 3 years

  • Experience working with automating test cases by writing custom scripts using at least one language, such as Python, Perl, Ruby or VBScript – 3 years

  • Experience tracking defects, trends, and generating reports using tracking systems like Jira – 3 years

  • Junit, Maven and/or Jenkins experience – 2 years

  • Open Source reporting frameworks experience, such as Extent and Allure – 1 year
