Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 5 years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

Come join Oracle Cloud Infrastructure s (OCI) capacity management team managing capacity. This is a key role that owns capacity management across for workloads for Oracle s global footprint supporting their IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS customers. OCI is looking for a driven, strategic, analytical and capacity manager with demonstrated experience driving and delivering results. This person will be responsible for working with a range of internal stakeholders todesign, develop and manage operational execution mechanisms and resolve dependencies to allow scale of operations. You will help ensure operational success of Oracle s cloud expansion strategy. The ideal candidate will need strong analytical, cross-team collaboration, and multi-tasking skills that can execute and deliver quickly. This role is located in Seattle, WA.
Capacity risk management: Identify, evaluate and recommend solutions to any potential capacity risk areas in OCI s worldwide portfolio
Define and build KPIs to measure current operating performance of our services
Partner with business intelligent engineers to design and build operational dashboards and management tools
Review and approve short-term demand requests against region availability and demand shape where applicable
Partner with demand planning and infrastructure supply planning teams on capacity optimization initiatives to ensure efficient use of existing capacity
Track and monitor new hardware installations to ensure capacity is made available to customers on time; recommend improvements to engineering and capacity ingestion teams to reduce time to customer availability
Partner with demand planning, infrastructure supply planning and business analytics teams on executive content to synthesize growth plans, drivers and operational excellence
Represent efficiency and risk management in reviews
3 years of forecasting or operations experience
Expertise in demand planning, operations, and forecasting for a mid- to large-sized company
Degree in finance, economics, computer science, or related subject preferred
Data and analytical skills to define key drivers and improve operational excellence
Project management skills to lead projects and generate clarity with cross-functional teams
