Oracle Workforce Metrics Intelligence Analyst 4 in San Bruno, California

Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers.

Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Constructs forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge. Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs or available data elements. May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues. May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years relevant work experience. BS/BA preferred.

Department Overview:

This position will be a key contributor on the Employee Listening team within HR. Employee Listening is focused on helping create an environment where Oracle leaders consistently make well informed decisions about their talent and organizations through development and administration of employee surveys, and evaluation and communication of global employee feedback data across the employee lifecycle, driving insight into the workforce and continuous improvement in employee engagement and enablement at Oracle.

Responsibilities

This role will be a key contributor to the Employee Listening team s efforts to deliver insights to the business and HR community through employee feedback and listening.

The role will primarily focus on a) All aspects of management, design, implementation and analysis of current global employee survey programs including engagement surveys and onboarding and exit surveys. b) Management of relevant business and HR communities of practice associated with global survey programs b) Partnering with Business and HR stakeholders to design, develop and implement local pulse surveys c) Manage relevant vendor/partner relationships as required in management of global survey programs d) Research design and analysis of employee survey data.

The work will also include managing and building relationships within the HR community and the business to identify areas where senior leaders require more insight and scoping relevant workforce intelligence solutions, primarily focused on employee feedback and listening. The work also will involve delivering those solutions to the business - analyzing and interpreting data, sharing key findings with HR and line of business executives, and assisting with the framing of action/communication implications of the work.

Personal and Interpersonal Competencies:

  • 8 years of relevant work experience

  • MA or Ph.D. preferred

  • Experience in the design, management, implementation and analysis of employee surveys and employee survey data

  • Experience in program management

  • Experience in organizational research design, implementation, and analysis

  • Experience using statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS)

  • Experience with qualitative research preferred

  • Experience integrating disparate data from multiple systems and tools

  • Inquisitive, research oriented mindset with skills in hypothesis testing and advanced analytics

  • Results orientation with a demonstrated ability to deliver against multiple priorities

  • Skilled in developing presentations using data visualization and storytelling to communicate insights, implications and recommendations from analytics and research

  • Skilled in translating implications of research findings for a general business audience

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Customer orientation with consultative skills - identifying needs and defining solutions

  • Self-directed with ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
