As a member of the Consulting organization, you are responsible for ensuring that a quality, integrated software solution is delivered in a timely manner, at budget, and to our client*s satisfaction. This involves working closely with the client to understand and manage their expectations, as well as working closely with Oracle and third-party vendors to ensure delivery.
Create and manage an overall project plan (including budget, structure, schedule, and staffing needs) for one or more Oracle engagements. Monitor and report progress/changes against the plan. Drive implementation by providing motivation and direction.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. A BS or BA in related fields. 3 - 6 years overall experience in functional or technical role.

The Associate Project Manager will primarily be responsible for managing the delivery of Oracle NetSuite s Professional Services implementations of the on-demand NetSuite solutions. Under the guidance of Oracle NetSuite s delivery methodology, the Associate Project Manager will drive the delivery of Oracle NetSuite s Professional Services engagements according to the agreed upon scope, time and budget all while ensuring the highest degree of customer satisfaction.
The Associate Project Manager is a key player in managing, tracking and communicating the progress of projects, and in ensuring the quality delivery of Oracle NetSuite s Professional Services. From Initiation through to completion, the Associate Project Manager will be responsible for planning customer-specific engagements, managing the business requirements development, review and signoff process, managing the execution of deliverables while controlling scope, executing the change management process when needed, and ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies and project roadblocks. The Associate Project Manager will manage multiple concurrent projects and will work with a number of resources within a matrix environment.
From initiation through to completion, the Associate Project Manager will be responsible for the construction, presentation and signoffs of key deliverables such as project kickoff presentations, project plans, regular status reports, risk and issue logs, and working with the appropriate teams on change orders when required. S/he will also facilitate planning sessions at various stages of the project lifecycle. Critical to the success of this role will be the setting and management of customer expectations, regarding project scope, the Oracle NetSuite delivery model, stakeholder roles and responsibilities, timelines, escalation and change management processes, communication and risk management plans.
Plan, manage and communicate the progress of projects, achieving project milestones and maintaining project momentum.
Effectively manage scope, budget, timeline, resources, quality and customer satisfaction throughout the project.
Communicate well with all stakeholders, internal and external, including project sponsors, project managers, and project team members.
Establish, maintain and deepen client relationships by providing results and exceeding expectations.
Deliver multiple concurrent projects using the defined Oracle NetSuite delivery methodology.
Utilize Oracle NetSuite s delivery Methodology to drive implementations to successful completion, ensuring highest degree of customer satisfaction.
Identify and effectively mitigate risks.
Facilitate resolution of issues and roadblocks, escalate when appropriate.
Work collaboratively with the Project Management Office (PMO), project delivery leads and project resources.
Forecast and deliver against committed hours for your project portfolio.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of and compliance with internal processes and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications include:
3 or more years of relevant professional experience, ideally in an information technology function project management, coordination, solution delivery or customer success role.
Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively across a number of concurrent projects
Strong customer management skills, including the ability to work with them to develop and manage an implementation plan.
Excellent customer service orientation and a drive for quality and their satisfaction.
Ability to work collaboratively with virtual teams in a matrixed organization
Demonstrated experience in translating customer business requirements into workable world class software solution.
Ability to manage risk.
Outstanding verbal/written communication and presentation skills, including the ability to successfully interact with customers and colleagues via phone, web, email and in-person.
Knowledge of Project Management processes, methods and tools is a plus
Experience implementing or supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), or similar packaged application solutions a plus
Finance or Accounting academic and/or professional background is a plus
Knowledge of assigned Industry Vertical and/or associated Solution is a plus
Consulting role experience is a plus
NetSuite solution experience is a plus
