As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership to a project team. Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.
Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.
8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.

Reporting to the Consulting Delivery Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for all technical aspects of the Oracle Middleware software tool and implementations for both cloud and on-premise projects. The software tools include such as BPEL, OSB, ICS (Integration Cloud Services). The Middleware Architect develops the Integration architecture for the systems and is responsible for implementing the overall Integration design of the applications.
Essential Job Functions:
Design and develop Integration solutions on both Cloud and On-premise platforms.
Design and develop Integration solutions involving both Oracle and non-Oracle applications.
Install and configure SOA middleware products.
Work with client s business teams to capture requirements and build integration solutions accordingly.
Be an onsite technical lead and co-ordinate with offshore team to accomplish activities when needed.
Identify potential risk and problem areas and develop procedures that provide effective workarounds to the problem at hand.
Develop detailed specifications including; enterprise integration diagrams or blueprints, application configuration and requirements.
Train other oracle resources and guide them as per project needs.
Produce Integration and Technical Architecture Documents to include Conceptual Technical Models, Platform, Performance, Security, Operational Requirements, Integration and Interface Requirements.
Serves as advisory-level pre-sales support and post-sales technical support specialist when needed.
Works with peers and a matrix of other team members in the business unit to improve products and services delivery and to expand the capabilities of services provided to Oracle customers.
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience in large-scale IT implementations involving Oracle Middleware integration components.
Have experience in designing and developing applications in cloud environment (SaaS / PaaS / IaaS).
Hands on experience with Oracle SOA 12C, OSB, BPEL, and Integration Cloud Service (ICS).
Strong Unix skills and experience with UNIX operating systems like RH Linux, Oracle Linux etc.
Hands on experience using Oracle Weblogic server. Ability to install, configure and performance tune.
ODI skills highly desired
Possess excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skills
Experience working with big 4 consulting firms is a plus.
Knowledge with Oracle Utilities applications like CC&B, MWM, and MDM etc. is desired.
Be able to demonstrate operational administration skills in Oracle products like Oracle Database.
Possess Good verbal/written skills in English.
Ability to travel for 100% of assignments to any destination is a key requirement of the role. Travel is typically M-TH and can be less
