Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent is required. A PhD degree or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience beyond MS degree is required.
Must possess strong background in digital signal processing, wireless baseband, sensor networks, multi-sensor systems and localization.
Strong R&D track record is desired.
Must be able to quickly adapt to new research topics and deliver results.
Fluent in high level programming languages, s.t., Matlab, C/C++, Python, and Java, is essential.
Good understanding of analog front-end and operation of embedded systems is desired.
Background in image processing, computer vision, machine learning, camera optics, or robotics is essential.
Good software programming skills, in general, are necessary.
Must possess good lab skills.
Must possess professional skills, including: collaboration, teamwork, self motivated, adaptability, problem solving, and innovative thinking.
San Diego, CA - As a technical contributor on the systems engineering team, the Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for modelling, algorithm design, simulation, implementation and performance evaluation in the fields of digital signal/image processing, wireless communication and networking, localization by multi-sensor systems, and other R&D projects.

Perform system engineering functions related to digital signal processing for wireless baseband, sensor networks, localization, multi- sensor systems and fusion.
Participate in gathering technical requirements, assessing solutions, and establishing specifications.
Perform system modeling, simulations and algorithm design.
Participate in creating system test plans, analysing data, and evaluating performance.
Participate in advanced research, create project proposals, generate intellectual properties and research publications.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
