Work You ll DoApply technical accounting standards, financial reporting, valuation techniques and methodologies for derivatives, quantitative risk assessment and forecasting models, structured finance transactions, cash flow modeling, capital markets transaction support and due diligence. Compile and analyze data for financial statement impact. Perform valuation of structured finance products using ASC 815 and ASC 820 fair value guidelines. Model cash flows for securitized transactions containing wide variety of underlying asset classes. Understand clients' business environment and basic risk management approaches. Demonstrate general knowledge of market trends and competitor activities, products, and service lines. Participate in decision making with engagement management and seek to understand broader impact of current decisions. Build and nurture strong client relationships. Review internal control documentation related to internal audit and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and identification of key control points, including narratives and process and data flows. Develop recommendations for improved and enhanced controls and business efficiencies to clients. Perform assessments, remediation, implementation and integration of end-to-end solutions. #LI-DNI RequirementsBachelor's (or higher) degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).Two years of experience performing financial statement analysis and related impact of data.Experience must include two years of:Identifying and applying relevant concepts in accounting, financial/business processes, close consolidation and reporting, financial operations, risk management, and financial applications;Supporting financial accounting transformations and preparing external reports;Performing technical research of complex accounting issues;Conducting data analytics;Serving as liaison between financial audit teams and controls testing teams in order to validate and execute regulatory requirements laid out by audit teams;Performing internal audits for business processes including control design, evaluating control operating effectiveness, performing control gap analysis and reviewing testing performed by client personnel; and mentoring junior team members;Developing effective testing procedures to evaluate the operating effectiveness of relevant internal controls;Liaising directly with client contacts to present findings; andAddressing existing capability gaps and identifying opportunities to enhance and better leverage process and technology to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.Position requires approximately 80% travel.
