IBM Global Business Services (GBS) is hiring an Associate Partner with subject matter expertise in Corporate Real Estate Technologies and Internet of Things (IoT) to join our consulting team - a leadership position and directly responsible for business development and the successful sales and delivery of complex transformation engagements across multiple industries. Specifically, this candidate will support IBM offerings that include, but are not limited to, Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS), Smart Buildings & IoT, Smart Workplace (Occupancy Experience) and Energy Optimization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identify and advance new business opportunities

  • Manage multiple, complex sales and delivery engagements simultaneously

  • Develop business cases and write and manage proposals

  • Establish and maintain deal focused trusted relationships with clients and partners

  • Manage sales activities, negotiations, assessments and the delivery of the solution

  • Provide hands-on leadership and direction to large program teams and collaborate cross functionally

  • Lead client workshops to help clients understand the benefits of implementation options, change management and business process impacts

  • Contribute to the growth of intellectual capital and support the development of other consultants through mentoring and/or coaching activities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to interact directly with clients and will be required to travel up to 75%.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 5 years of experience in two or more applications specific to Corporate Real Estate Industry Solutions (i.e. Lease Administration, Space & Utilization, Operations & Maintenance, Workplace, Environmental & Compliance, etc)

  • At least 3 years of experience defining solutions, project road maps, estimating, determining resource requirements and defining delivery models utilizing a formal structured methodology

  • At least 3 years of experience in deal structure, proposal creation and participation in oral presentations

  • At least 5 years of experience in sales and delivery of consulting projects

  • At least 5 years of experience in business development and C-suite relationship building skills

  • Experience with technology driven change, business applications and program management of large scale transformations

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience delivering consulting services for global real estate technology solutions

  • At least 5 years of experience working with clients in one or more of the following industries: Retail, Telecommunications, Financial Services (Banking / Insurance), and High Tech / Electronics

  • At least 5 years of experience in the sales and delivery of consulting projects with an average annual sales of $3M - $5M or more
