Oracle Cloud UI Architect/Developer – Consulting Technical Manager - US Nationwide in San Francisco, California

As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership to a project team. Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.

Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.

8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.

Position Summary:

As a member of the Oracle Digital Experience Consulting Practice you will be engaged in Cloud User Interface design, development/implementation projects leveraging Oracle Cloud PaaS, Infrastructure and SaaS technologies as a lead or individual contributor.

The successful candidate will focus on helping customers realize the value of their Oracle investments through the architecture, design and delivery of projects using Oracle Public Cloud PaaS technologies and/or Oracle on premise technologies within the Digital Experience realm.

The successful candidate will have:

Proven experience in large scale complex design and deployments helping multiple customers with UI design, development and deployment of Applications, Web Sites & Portals both Secure and Public facing

Hands on experience building web or mobile applications using JavaScript technologies/frameworks, HTML5 and CSS

Hands on experience with Agile development and DevOps Tools

Hands on experience integrating to on premise and cloud applications; and to security infrastructure

Strong communication skills and consulting skills in the field of User Interface development to communicate ideas using low and high fidelity mockups (layout design and navigation, usability)

Have experience conducting customer engagement full project life cycles including requirements, design, implementation, testing and training for delivering user friendly, professional, visually effective user interfaces for applications

Ability to lead a team and work with remote/offshore resources.

Advise and influence customer management on UI/UX direction/decisions

Anticipate project risks and make corrective recommendations to the project manager

Must be willing and able to travel up to 100% (candidate can reside anywhere in the US)

Degree in Computer Sciences or Business or equivalent. Balance of technical skills, functional knowledge and client consultative skills

Has 10-15 years of experience relevant to this position including 5 years consulting experience preferred. Prior team lead or manager experience.

Additional skills and experience preferred:

  • Knowledge of one or more Oracle PaaS technologies (Visual Builder Cloud, Content and Experience Cloud, Mobile Cloud) or competing PaaS technologies

  • Cloud Native Development and Mobile development

  • Knowledge of Java, Oracle ADF, Webcenter products

  • Knowledge of integrating with one or more Oracle Applications (EBS, Peoplesoft, JDE, ERP Cloud, HCM Cloud, CX Cloud etc)

  • Experience with Caching technologies

  • Knowledge of Oracle database and Weblogic server

Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or competing offerings like AWS/Azure
