Bank of America Digital Channels Manager in San Francisco, California

Job Description:

This position will be part of the Digital Channels Mobile and API Product Management team. The focus will be on partnering with the various GBAM lines of business, understanding their needs with regards to API’s and implementing those needs and exposing them to clients via our developer portal.

Job responsibilities include:

  1. Manage and direct the developer portal experience to ensure the customers’ needs are met through innovative and intuitive solutions.

  2. Understands the competitive API marketplace and frequently incorporates new trends and functions into the product.

  3. Must be knowledgeable of current API technology trends and how and why clients use them.

  4. Provides day to day support for production issues including managing issues to resolution, providing executive updates, and managing client communication.

  5. Works on a cross-functional team to translate customer needs and VOC into new features and services.

  6. Provides subject matter expertise for all API initiatives.

  7. Works with project teams to ensure requirements and testing plans are clearly defined.

  8. Supports production releases of all code deliveries.

  9. Provides creative solutions to problems when necessary.


ERP/TMS experience is desired. Lean/Agile expereicne is required. Expereince in story writing, sprint management, and scrum is desired. Proven ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment and to meet all deadlines. Detail oriented. Able to understand data beyond top level analysis. Must to be able to conduct deep analysis, identifying and assessing questions stemming from initial data findings. Possess good judgment to be able to make sound decisions. Possesses an excellent understanding of technology. Excellent communication skills.


Some Product Management experience, specifically in Treasury, and have a working knowledge of the technical aspects of the API environment. Corporate practitioner in the treasury space would be desired. Ability to work in a team environment and to manage and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to provide creative solutions both independently and as part of a team for unique client needs. Possesses knowledge of Treasury Management products / solutions. A CTP is preferred. Strong influencing capabilities based on knowledge and experience
