IBM Director, Sales Tools (US) - Bluewolf in San Francisco, California

Job Description

Bluewolf recently joined forces with IBM iX to accelerate us on our mission to be the #1 brand known for creating incredible customer moments with Salesforce. To drive this mission, we need a charismatic Director, Sales Tools to enable our valued clientele to drive sales excellence and world class selling through best-in-class consulting services. This role supports Bluewolf’s global Sales Technology & Effectiveness Go-to-Market (GTM) and is responsible for nurturing select client implementations and driving sales. He or she will drive quality delivery through leadership and innovation while also focusing on enabling Bluewolf sales teams and supporting key client engagements.


  • Act as key executive representative under the global Sales GTM Leader

  • Own global Sales Tools bookings number as well as billable utilization goals

  • Sales responsibility that includes pipeline growth, delivery enablement, client facing delivery execution

  • Drive ongoing development of new clients

  • Partner with customers to develop and implement roadmaps focused on sales operations excellence and technology improvement

  • Monitor and manage key performance indicators for delivery, revenue and utilization

  • Collaborate internally to ensure alignment of and achievement of business goals

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology or related field

  • 7+ years selling experience in a Software/Services environment, with 2-3 years of leadership and successful team selling

  • Strong experience supporting sales and improving rep efficiency and productivity through technology

  • Proven background with Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud) and experience implementing and integrating various sales tools (pricing, contract management, eSignature, sales compensation, etc…)

  • Experience with high-volume inside sales tools and business process (CTI, next-best-action, guided selling, etc…)

  • Sales Operations / Enablement experience a plus

  • Superb negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills, with impeccable business judgment and decision making abilities
