Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. We help our management and Board of Directors identify and monitor risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and take appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

The Strategic Enterprise Risk Management (SERM) group is responsible for independently overseeing a broad collection of activities and risk types. Our environment continues to be one of heightened standards, raised risk consciousness, and increasing regulatory requirements. This Administrative Assistant 4 position will be responsible for supporting the Head of Enterprise Risk Optimization and Strategy and other functions to be determined.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serving as an extension of senior leader in supporting SERM’s culture of partnership, teamwork, results-orientation, and professionalism;

  • Conducting various administrative duties to support the SERM Team as needed (setting and coordinating meetings, managing calendars, scheduling travel, etc.);

  • Assisting with agendas, minutes and other administrative reporting for key governance committees (Enterprise Risk Management Committee);

  • Review and processing expense reports;

  • Onboarding new Team Members and/or external consultants. Updating HR systems used for Team Member recruitment and/or access;

  • Assisting, screening and/or selectively referring callers; handling complex and sensitive inquiries/calls from external/internal sources;

  • Using MS Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to assist in preparation and review of confidential Wells Fargo memorandums, reports and presentation materials.

  • Acting as an information source on departmental/business unit policies and procedures;

  • May coordinate special events or office functions.

Preferred location is San Francisco, CA.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of administrative support experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems

  • Ability to handle confidential material in a professional manner

  • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management

  • Ability to manage changing travel itineraries, accurately manage expense reimbursement, manage a busy calendar and appointments flawlessly

  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment

  • Administrative support exposure; preferably within Wells Fargo supporting senior level executives

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

  • Banking finance experience

  • Customer service focus with the ability to balance needs of clients, shareholders, and team members

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy skills
