As a recognized authority and leading contributor within the practice, this senior-level consulting professional has broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs across multiple product/technology families. Works directly with Consulting sales to analyze customer business needs.

Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to design non-routine and complex business solutions utilizing Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Influences customer leadership in acceptance of Oracle solutions and services to facilitate the closing of consulting deals. Contributes to statements of work, work breakdown structures and/or level of effort and staff plans. Presents and demonstrates solutions to customers. Builds and maintains a network and up-to-date specific industry or product knowledge. Responsible for transitioning deal knowledge to implementation team. Leads the domain specific solution design aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality and integrated business solutions. Anticipates project risks and suggest risk mitigation to project manager. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products.

8-10 years of relevant experience including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team lead or manager experience. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Broad product, technology or industry expertise. Ability to craft and articulate strategic solutions. In-depth knowledge of implementation methodologies and best practices. Knowledge of competitive & partner products, technology and solutions. Ability to travel as needed.

Oracle Public Sector / Community Development / Business Licensing / Cloud / Solution Manager - US Nationwide Solution Architect

As a member of the Oracle Consulting Services, your focus is to deliver Oracle solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs.

Detailed Description:

First released in Q4 2018, Public Sector Compliance and Regulation (PSCR) is an Oracle-developed Fusion Application purpose-built for local Government. It enables the management of community development functions such as permitting, inspections, planning and zoning with more to come in future releases. PSCR brings powerful capabilities to a traditionally underserved market by incorporating products like Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Policy Automation, Oracle Digital Assistant, Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence.

Owns the successful implementation of Oracle Public Sector Community Development solutions for a wide range of State and Local government agencies Contributes to statements of work, work breakdown structures and/or level of effort and staff plans. Presents and demonstrates solutions to customers. Builds and maintains a network and up-to-date specific industry or product knowledge. Responsible for transitioning deal knowledge from sales to the implementation team. Leads the domain specific solution design aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality and integrated business solutions. Anticipates project risks and suggest risk mitigation to project manager. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products.

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required.

Job Requirements:

  • 8 - 10 years of experience implementing complex software solutions

  • 6 years of experience managing teams and staff

  • 8 - 10 years of experience developing methodology, best practices, approach and execution of implementations with Public Sector solutions including Permitting, Enforcement, Land Development and Licensing systems

  • 4 years experience leading the architecture of system integrations and custom business rules that utilize technologies such as web services, library-based API s, object oriented / scripting languages, etc.

  • Proven track record of leading both project teams and managing staff

  • Hands-on delivery experience with Cloud applications

  • Experience assisting with Sales Pursuits, including but not limited to, Proposals, Pricing, Contracting and Client Presentations

Candidates with ALL of the above experience will be given first priority. All candidates need a minimum of 5 out of 7 to be considered

In addition to the requirements above, the successful candidate will:

  • Possess the ability to establish and maintain relationships with Customer Executive Leadership team

  • Have experience using Oracle Integration Cloud

  • Have a strong background and experience developing and implementing new technologies and software solutions including Agile methodologies

  • Be customer interfacing and the consultant must demonstrate the ability to work with customers on an independent basis with exceptional communication skills, while consistently achieving the absolute highest levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Understanding of the principles of network, application and information security

  • Be a leading contributor, both individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.

  • Understand that Oracle projects are non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in the area of specialization.

  • Have the ability to navigate, make recommendations and develop solutions within a variety of Public Sector IT departments, infrastructure, etc.

  • Excellent customer relationship and communication skills

  • Knowledge of competitive & partner products, technology and solutions.

Ability to travel 70% US Nationwide - Candidates must be USA based and be able and willing to travel US Nationwide Mon Thurs/Fri
