AECOM Resident Engineer in San Francisco, California

Under direct supervision, performs routine duties requiring knowledge of basic engineering principles.
Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work.
Performs specific and limited portions of broader assignments.
Spends large percentage of time performing estimating take-offs and performing walk-downs for quantity tracking purposes, reporting of installed quantities, performing field inspections to verify adherence to design.
7+ years of experience
Knowledge and experience working with the systems elements on rail transit systems, including but not limited to:
Overhead Contact System, Subway and Surface; Traction Power; Track Switch and Signal & Crossover Control System
Train Control, Traffic Signals; ticket vending machines, signage, advertising panels, public address system, talking signs, closed circuit television cameras
Clipper, Nextbus, seats, trash receptacles and art enhancements.
