Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and suggest improvements to the architecture.
Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

You will lead a team that is responsible for managing the Sales Engineering and demo creation team utilizing Oracle s PaaS for SaaS Product portfolio, working with customers as well as internal partners and stakeholders to gather and analyze information to develop solutions that best meet customer needs

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
This Senior Manager of Technology Demo Engineering will have 5-10 years direct experience in Development Management with skills in cloud technologies (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
The ideal candidate will be conversant in today s technology trends and viewed by internal stakeholders and customers as an industry expert. You will be a creative product person and aware of the power of story-telling in driving sales.
More specifically, you will have the experience described below:
Passion for and ability to meet customer needs and the ability to lead an organization to deliver and launch scalable solutions.
Product and market expertise in Salesforce.com, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, or other cloud technology products including customer/user needs, competitive landscape, and key trends in the industry.
Proven experience leading end-to-end solutions across Product and other functions including Marketing, Sales, Service, and/or Support. Track record of successfully delivering on goals and objectives
Organizational vision & strategy: Ability to create and communicate a compelling vision as well as the ability to implement optimal strategies/roadmaps to achieve the vision. Will identify and drive the right opportunities for us to innovate and differentiate. Able to make difficult tradeoff decisions.
People management experience: Proven ability to hire and grow rock stars. Ensure excellent execution by team.
Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills. Able to handle challenging meetings with internal and external executives.
