Consultant: Total Health Management

This is a tremendous opportunity to join our dynamic and growing Total Health Management (THM) group which is part of our Health & Benefits (H&B) line of business. In this role you will have the opportunity to lead consulting engagements, typically our more sophisticated and complex clients with 5,000+ employees.
The THM Consultant should have a minimum of 8 yrs experience (clinical experience, or MPH a plus but not required), ideally at least a year in consulting and demonstrated strong business acumen.

Responsibilities:

Research THM (Medical, BH, absence) health science literature on measurement related questions, formulate perspectives and document findings

Conduct health management program evaluations

Review and critique health management vendor performance reports

Consult with clients on the metrics, process and expected outcomes of THM interventions

Analyze health and productivity databases

Request relevant client data from carriers and clients' data warehouse vendors. Work with client team on measurement methodology, documentation of findings and recommendation

Train junior consultants to assist with measurement projects

Contribute to THM measurement IC. For example, develop a standardized methodology for assessing HM vendors and carriers care management programs as part of the RFP process

Delegate effectively to provide developmental opportunities to team members including providing mentoring and coaching Qualification

BA/BS preferred At least seven years of Health &Benefits or related experience Knowledge of MS Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment Ability to partner and lead teams to deliver project objectives; ability to work independently and on a team Required to obtain and maintain appropriate licenses as required by state regulations and Mercer policies Superior analytical, strategic planning, communication, and listening skills Excellent organizational, time and project management skills
