We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated team player to create, develop and drive product strategy, work across feature teams to define and prioritize key product / service requirements, drive customer demand-generation activities, as well as lead initial customer discussions. Success is measured by customer and partner preference towards using Oracle CASB Cloud Service as their single consistent cloud security platform.
Vision: Understand the CASB and cloud security platform market, and enterprise IT Security needs, to build a value-differentiated service offering
Requirements: Distilling customer and market requirements into epics & user stories for an Agile development team
Active engagement during development process: PM team is deeply engaged throughout the development process and participates in acceptance testing. That means, at a feature level, writing clear acceptance criteria to ensure feature completeness
Cross-team leadership: Coordinating across multiple cross-BU teams for operationalizing the solution
Outbound: Work closely with Product Marketing in collateral generation for sales & customer enablement, serving as technical Subject Matter Expert
Evangelize the solution over competing offerings in customer presentations, speaking opportunities at events such as Oracle Open World, Cloud Days, and other online seminars, and social media
Qualifications and skills:
Prior experience in AWS, GCP & Azure and/or security for IaaS is highly preferred
2 years of experience in product management, product marketing, product engineering, sales engineering, IT operations or equivalent experience in enterprise software.
Experience in creating SaaS based offerings for Enterprise. Hands-on experience in a cloud service provider is a plus.
Passion for and ability to understand customer needs and deliver great solutions. A track record for building software that is easy to use with exceptional user experience.
Must have expertise in cloud services including at least two of the largest enterprise platforms in IaaS and SaaS.
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
