CASB is one of the fastest growing business unit within oracle cloud
organization. This unit operates like a startup making multiple releases
in a week to production. We are looking for a strong technical
developer to help us with the growth. Specifically, in the Test
The candidate will architect / lead implementation of the
tools, metrics, automation frameworks, CI pipelines to enable the
engineering teams to be more productive. The successful candidate for
this role will have expertise in engineering tools, methods and
practices. Responsibilities include, hands-on implementation of
automation tests, technical discussions, delivering tools/libraries and
influencing other engineers, architects, managers, and product owners.
Provide automation test and test tooling approach for the CASB features that focuses on various areas of testing.
Design, develop and oversee the maintenance of automation system and tools to be used by development and test engineers
Review source code for potential problems, help debug and triage issues and isolate fixes
Work with other engineers assigned to various scrum teams to helpbuild various testing tools, by working alongside other engineers andchampioning code quality principles
Proactively involve with product managers right from inceptionthrough functional validation to launch, while always looking forpotential quality issues/bugs and offer triaging and root cause analysiscapabilities to the engineers
Work with various teams to promote quality best practices, and standardization
Participate in the review of product design specifications andsource code with other members of the engineering team, ensure thetestability requirements are addressed in the design
Demonstrated experience in test automation development, usingframeworks and tools like Junit, TestNG, Appium, Cucumber, Postman aswell as REST/JSON APIs.
Data driven, with strong problem solving skills with analyticalcapabilities to be able to support theories/solutions using underlyingdata
Ability to work in a group setting and collaborate by providing transparency in test results
Ability to critique work of self and others constructively
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Willing to break monotony and question the status quo
Enthusiastic and energetic with an inherent curiosity to break code and stress test it!
Experience / Education:
Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent with minimum of 7
years of experience with test automation tools and development in a
product engineering organization
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
