Software Developer (NodeJS and Kubernetes)

The Guardium team, part of the IBM Security Organization, is tasked with protecting customer's data. On a day to day basis we are faced with algorithmic, design and data security challenges. As a growing organization we are looking for a driven, experienced and talented NodeJS developer who is proficient in Kubernetes.

If selected you’ll be working with our core engineering and design teams. If you are detail oriented, consistently exhibit success under pressure while loving the challenge of conquering complex security problems, this is the right place for you .

Responsibilities will include :

Develop applications for the Guardium SaaS offering

Develop NodeJS applications

Develop Representational State Transfer (REST) Services

Develop utilities and features to support the Guardium product and deploy them on Kubernetes

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Demonstrated ability to code in Object Oriented (OO) JavaScript

Minimum 3 years experience with NodeJS

Prior Experience with ExpressJS

Prior Experience with Kubernetes on AWS and Azure.

Expert verbal and written communication skills

Expert knowledge of GIT and agile methodologies

Demonstrated ability to work with the software development process

Must be a great team player and experienced in working in a multi-cultural environment

Experienced in NoSQL Databases like Cloudant

Prior experience with Linux

Demonstrated problem solving skills

Required * Bachelor's Degree *

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

Minimum 5+ years experience with NodeJS
