Wells Fargo Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargo’s more than 70 million global customers.

This web developer will work on an application support team which supports numerous applications associated with the Wells Fargo Community Bank technology group. Duties of the position will include providing support to users and technical teams for issue tracking / resolution and providing ad-hoc data analysis to help streamline ongoing operations.

Duties will be varied and may include one or more of following:

• Participates in the development and implementation of moderately complex to complex internet and intranet applications on one or more platforms.

• Performs production support and troubleshooting, including website/portal monitoring and maintenance.

• Provides support for moderately complex technical issues and initiatives related to assigned applications, systems, databases and/or other technical products and services.

• Makes basic to moderately complex changes, fixes or enhancements to applications, escalating complex issues as needed.

• Work is performed using knowledge of web technologies as well as playbooks, guidelines and templates.

• Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements.

• Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes.

• Writes queries to extract data and validates data loads.

• Updates documentation and procedures and provides informal training.

• Assists with migrations from development to production, upgrades, installations and/or configurations.

• May develop systems test plan components and test scripts.

• Understands BCP, quality, security and compliance requirements for supported areas and monitors changes to identify risk to production systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of web development experience; including programming and developing web applications

  • 3+ years of experience developing web applications utilizing HTML 5

  • 3+ years of PL/SQL experience

  • 3+ years of application development experience with ASP.NET(C#)

  • 3+ years of MS AJAX experience

  • 3+ years of XML (Extensible Markup Language) experience

  • 3+ years of Web Services experience

  • 3 + years of JavaScript Frameworks experience (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI and/or Angular JS)

  • 3+ years of Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) development experience

  • 3+ years of technical service help desk experience

  • 2+ years of data modeling experience

  • 2+ years of technical troubleshooting experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • 3 + years of experience developing Single Page Architecture (SPA) web application using ASP.NET MVC, Knockout, Javascript, or JQuery, or with frameworks such as Angular.JS or HTML 5

  • Knowledge and understanding of UML (Unified Modeling Language)

  • Knowledge and understanding of technology object oriented: design and UML

  • Experience with MS Azure cloud computing technology

  • Knowledge and understanding of AppDynamics

  • SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience

  • BS/BA in computer science, applied statistics, quantitative economics, operations research or a related field

  • Knowledge and understanding of database querying and creating ad hoc reporting results using SQL or similar querying methods

  • Experience querying, extracting, and reporting on multiple databas es while adhering to data management regulations and policies

  • 1+ year of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experience

  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to identify root-cause issues/improvement opportunities, and design approaches/programs/products to improve overall quality assurance

  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

  • Ability to partner as a team member resource
