Preferred Qualifications


  • Partner with Oracle NetSuite leadership to provide decision support and value added analysis

  • Assist with the annual and multi-year planning process for area of responsibility including developing of revenue and margin targets, capacity modeling, resource allocation, and expense planning

  • Lead the forecasting process for area of responsibility

  • Monthly and quarterly revenue, expense, and metrics reporting

  • Build and maintain high-level knowledge across business area by staying current on initiatives, challenges and opportunities across the business. Understand associated risks and opportunities. Develop an understanding of critical business performance drivers.

  • Assist with the financial presentations to the business and the preparation of quarterly reporting schedules.

  • Prepare and review relevant financial analyses comparing actuals to forecasts and budgets. Understand and create schedules that bridge management reporting.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

  • Support the execution of key financial targets and metrics through the implementation and coordination of proactive dashboards and measurements.

  • Assist with other special projects, including system implementations and standardization efforts

  • Reporting and Analysis: Work with both operations and business management to identify and track appropriate performance measures, key performance indicators and associated drivers. Be proactive in reviewing information identifying inconsistencies, trends and issues for management. Drives consistent processes and standard formats.

  • Ensure data quality and accuracy of management reporting

  • Participate in various Global Business Finance change initiatives to drive improvements in efficiency effectiveness of financial reporting and business partnership

  • Participate in quarter end activities and contribute in close process

  • Proactively drive analysis on key trends and understand business drivers behind the trends we are seeing in the results

  • Ad hoc financial modeling and analysis as needed

  • Work closely with geographically dispersed finance team

Personal Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years finance/accounting experience (MBA is equivalent to two years’ experience)

  • Experience in managing a Finance team, preferable on a global level

  • BS in Finance or Accounting preferred, MBA or CPA a plus

  • Cloud, SaaS or software experience preferred

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are a must

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

  • Experience with NetSuite and Adaptive Planning a plus

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Financial support to business areas through financial analysis, budgeting, planning & forecasting; to facilitate decision making and future business strategies.

As a member of Oracle's finance organization, you will be responsible for providing all aspects of financial support for planning and control. Assist in consolidation and reporting of financial results; preparation of annual budget. Gather, model, analyze, prepare, and summarize information for financial plans, operating forecasts, trended future specifications, etc.; on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis. Prepares recommendations based on analyzes. May perform revenue and expense analysis, headcount and headcount driven expense analysis at cost center level, tracking of product and product line revenue, reconciliation of accounts receivable, variance analysis and ad-hoc analysis as needed. You may participate in cross functional programs and projects.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Strong Microsoft Office skills and proficiency in Oracle Financials. Strong analysis and research skills. Ability to partner across functions. 8 years relevant work experience. BS/BA in Accounting/Finance preferred. CPA/MBA desired.
