We are looking for an avid Java and SQL programmer along with the ability to create test cases and test plans from scratch. An ideal candidate is someone who has worked with one of the testing frameworks Selenium/JMeter/TestNG/Karma/Jasmin/Sinon/mocha/QUnit. Experience working in a SAAS/PAAS based organization would be a huge plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Writing test plans for new product features.

  • Designing test case outlines and optimizing automated test execution

  • Working on initiatives to improve test processes, test tool research

  • Analyzing workflows and designing test scenarios

  • White box code analysis, Performing peer code reviews

  • Test Driven Development practice.

  • Designing, implementing and running automated tests.

  • Finding and reporting software vulnerabilities.

  • Reproducing problems reported by customers.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • B.S.in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

  • Has worked with automated tools and testing frameworks to optimize test case execution, is

familiar with code coverage and continuous integrations, and is comfortable working with in

an Agile/Scrum environment.

  • Object oriented programming experience required, preferably Java.

  • Proficient testing/developing web applications.

  • Driving testing projects and junior engineers in the team

  • Complex technical problem solver

  • Familiarity with unit test development, preferably JUNIT.

  • Practical experience with Agile/Scrum SDLC.

  • Experience with Karma/Jasmin/Sinon or other testing framework

  • Excellent interpersonal skills working in a team environment.

  • Self–motivated, capable of working independently and able to efficiently manage multiple

tasks.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
