Oracle Oracle Cloud Integration Business Process Architect - Consulting Technical Manager in Santa Clara, California

As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position provides consistent high quality and innovative solution leadership to a project team. Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.

Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack.

8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.

Brief Posting Description:

An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of business process management (BPM), human workflow application development, and software development life cycle.

Requires hands-on experience working with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Integration Cloud Service (ICS), Oracle Process Cloud Service (PCS), Oracle SOA Cloud Service (SOA CS), Oracle BPM 11g/ 12c Suite, and/or Oracle SOA Suite 11g/ 12c Suite (Service Bus, BPEL, BAM).

Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs.

Detailed Description:

As an Oracle Cloud Integration Business Process Architect consultant in the Oracle Platform-As-A-Service (PaaS) Cloud Technology Practice, you are responsible for developing and maintaining expert level skills on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Process. Your specialization will be focused on cloud architecture, application integration, business process automation, and cloud application development using Oracle s Cloud Integration Platform.

Consultant must have at least five (5) years of experience working in Oracle Cloud Integration Platform, Oracle BPM Suite, Oracle SOA Suite technologies, and/or WebLogic Server. Consultant should have 8 years of experience to apply.

You will serve in the role of a Business Process Architect in customer engagements and will be

responsible for analyzing customer requirements, modeling business processes, and designing human workflow applications. You will lead the solution design and implementation aspects of projects, ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget.

This involves working closely with the project and program manager to understand the client

expectations. It also requires working closely with other Oracle groups, offshore development and third- party vendors to ensure high quality, on time delivery.

In addition to project delivery, our consultant will be called upon to help the consulting practice by

assisting with the following: Mentoring, Seminars, Workshops, Proposals and for providing subject

matter expertise to support sales.

*Job Requirements: *

Eight (8) years or more total software development, architecture, and solution design experience.

Strong customer facing, communication, and leadership skills.

Ability to build rapport with team members and clients.

Willing to travel 75%. some projects require Oracle Consulting onsite Monday through Thursday.

Others will allow one (1) or more weeks per month remote. Many clients allow most weeks working remotely. The combination of all of these types of projects usually results in 50%-75% travel.

Solid hands-on experience required in the following areas:

  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Process Cloud Service (PCS), Oracle Integration Cloud Service (ICS), Oracle BPM Suite 12c/11g (including human workflow application development, user interface application development utilizing Oracle ADF, and BPMN 2.0 process modeling), or Oracle SOA Suite 12c/11g (Oracle Service Bus (OSB), BPEL, BAM).

All candidates must be able and willing to travel US Nationwide, Mon Thurs or as needed

Our goal is to keep you working within your region of the country (East, Central, or West), or in the region adjacent to yours. There are times when cross-country travel could be required but we will try to minimize.
