We are looking for a seasoned product manager to own product definition and delivery. Engage with Oracle customers and field to provide feedback on Oracle IaaS roadmap and help the engineering teams prioritize features that best meet the needs of our customers. In this role, your ability to work across sales, engineering, customer success and marketing organizations seamlessly and effectively will define your success.

The key responsibilities for this role are

  • Define product requirements, lead product from inception through multiple releases

  • Influence product teams to invest and iterate on the right product features set for the customers

  • Lead beta programs and launch services

  • Collect continuous customer feedback, working closely with marketing and sales organizations

  • Deliver high quality collateral, write blogs to evangelize products and drive product adoption strategy

  • Support Oracle sales to win business and partner with them to stay on top of customer requirements

  • Make presentations to a variety of audiences that range from customers and partners to Oracle execs

To succeed in this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications

  • Technically fluent, strong product sense and a superior ability to work collaboratively in a team

  • Demonstrated experience defining and launching products

  • Strong knowledge of cloud, storage, IaaS, distributed systems and enterprise customers

  • Self starter, ability to analyze market, conduct research and present data driven content that informs actions and decisions

  • Exceptional written and presentation skills

  • 5 years of product management experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Masters or MBA preferred with a strong relevant experience in the field.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
